Monday.

This is what happens when I have nothing to do at work on a Monday:

The Darjeeling Limited.

Tonight I went to a promotional screening of the new Wes Anderson film The Darjeeling Limited. Wow. By far the most beautiful Wes Anderson film I've seen yet, and that's a lot coming from me considering I absolutely love The Life Aquatic. His color palette just makes my eyes smile. When I first heard about this movie several months ago I was disappointed to see that Bill Murray was not on the cast list. How could there be a Wes Anderson film without the great Bill Murray? But fear not my friends, he does make an appearance. Amazing soundtrack, as always. Wonderful story. Brilliant characters. I can't wait until I can watch it again. An absolute must see.

Brian Holderman.

There were two pieces of art that really caught my eye while I was visiting Pittsburgh last weekend. One of which was a poster advertising for a Sunday flea market, the other was an enormous mural we came across while trying to find our way through the city. This morning I was doing a little research on the various murals in Pittsburgh only to eventually find out that the poster that I kept ogling over in every store front was done by the same artist that created the mural I loved so much. Funny how that works.

The Big Animal.

It's been a while since I've seen a film quite so delightful.

Stuart Haygarth.

One of my most favorite things to do is go to the beach and collect tiny pieces of sea glass and other random trinkets that have washed up.

Stuart Haygarth has taken my obcession a step further with "Tide Chandelier" and his other creations.

Mike Perry.

It makes me want to go home and color all over my walls.
