Miroslav Sasek.

Miroslav Sasek's children's books are some of the most delightful things I've come across in a long time. While these were all originally published in the late 50's and early 60's, they're slowly being reissued.

Jen Corace.

I haven't updated recently. Mostly because of the stress of moving and starting school all at once. Today I went to an Anthropologie store for the first time and after I was done drooling over everything I realized that I was not only feeling incredibly inspired but also that I had come to the conclusion that I wanted to create things for children for the rest of my life. They had a good sized section of items for children there: books, toys, cups, etc. and it all left me with a very good feeling inside. Something that made me really excited. So from now on I'm going to push for that in my work. One of my current favorite children's book illustrators is Jen Corace. She worked on an amazing book called Little Pea that I absolutely love. I wanted to share some of her images here.
